War Story #4 – The Runner – Parts of these missions are hard, including a portion where you essentially have to take over an entire enemy fort single-handedly. I almost put this last because of how much I like the ending, but I think that honor goes to… War Story #2 – Friends in High Places – Narratively, these pilot missions might be my favorite collection of the bunch, and this is a pretty decently long stretch of assignments. Get more collectible letter locations on the next page.War Story #5 – Nothing is Written – I feel like this one was saved for “last” because of its connection to Lawrence of Arabia and its use of the armored train as a boss, but it’s pretty short and not all that difficult, so I’m slotting it in earlier. The letter is on the ground, in the dirty nearby.
Letter #6: Go to the Ridge Line just at the far edge of the airfield.This area is also marked with a pile of rocks. Letter #5: In the lake, find the small island with a cluster of palm trees.Find the rocky path up to the previous objective, the letter is on the ground. There’s another pile of rocks on the side of the road. Letter #4: From the Comms Station objective, go toward the airfield.There’s another stack of rocks with the letter nearby, just off the road. On the way, you’ll reach an area called Basin’s Edge. Letter #3: Go toward the Comms Station.Letter #2: Just outside the Radar Station objective, find the pile of rocks marking the trail at the Village Overlook.
There are two guards and a parked car outside. Letter #1: Found in the Abandoned Hut, near the start of the map, to the left.Follow the path right to the water and enter the bushes at the “Riverbank” zone. On the ride, there’s a halftrack on the side of the ride. Letter #3: In the same area, follow the road to the hangar.Go up to the central “Hillside Plateau” to find the letter on the ground. Letter #2: After the fight encounter, you’ll enter a very large area.
When you get close to a collectible letter, the location will be marked.
